SARA JEAN UNDERWOOD

​Sara Jean Underwood is an American model, television host, and actress, best known for her association with Playboy magazine and her work on television.

Early Life and Education

Born on March 26, 1984, in Portland, Oregon, Underwood grew up in Scappoose, Oregon. She graduated from Scappoose High School in 2002, where she was active in sports, including volleyball. She later attended Oregon State University, majoring in Business Marketing, and also studied at Portland State University. 

Modeling Career

Underwood's modeling career began with her appearance in Playboy's "Girls of the Pac-10" pictorial in the October 2005 issue, where she was featured on the cover. She was named Playmate of the Month in July 2006 and subsequently honored as Playmate of the Year in 2007. She was the first Miss July to receive this title. In March 2008, Playboy ranked her #25 on their "25 Hottest Playboy Celebrities" list. 

Television and Film Work

Underwood co-hosted G4's "Attack of the Show!" from 2010 to 2013, contributing to segments like "The Feed." She also worked as a continuity announcer for Blackbelt TV. Her film appearances include roles in "Epic Movie" (2007), "The House Bunny" (2008), "Miss March" (2009), "The Telling" (2009), and "Deadly Weekend" (2014).

Personal Life and Interests

Underwood had a two-year on-and-off relationship with television presenter Ryan Seacrest. In 2013, she dated Roberto Martinez, a former contestant on "The Bachelorette." She is currently in a relationship with Jacob Witzling, a cabin builder and photographer. Together, they produce a YouTube series called "Cabinland," documenting their cabin-building projects. ​

An avid yoga practitioner, Underwood competed in the 8th Kunoichi competition in Japan (known in the U.S. as "Women of Ninja Warrior"), where she advanced to the second stage. ​

Underwood is also known for her love of the outdoors, including hiking, camping, and traveling. She frequently shares her adventures and DIY projects on social media, where she has a substantial following. ​

In addition to her modeling and television work, Underwood has participated in charity poker tournaments and has been featured in various advertising campaigns. ​
